Isaiah 52:5–7 NKJV
5 Now therefore, what have I here,” says the Lord, “That My people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them Make them wail,” says the Lord, “And My name is blasphemed continually every day. 6 Therefore My people shall know My name; Therefore they shall know in that day That I am He who speaks: ‘Behold, it is I.’ ” 7 How beautiful upon the mountains Are the feet of him who brings good news, Who proclaims peace, Who brings glad tidings of good things, Who proclaims salvation, Who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

I.What

A.Isaiah 52:5

Isaiah 52:5 NKJV
5 Now therefore, what have I here,” says the Lord, “That My people are taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them Make them wail,” says the Lord, “And My name is blasphemed continually every day.
Oh how pitiful a site it is! For the Lord of Hosts to look down and see His chosen cast down and oppressed because of sin and suffering a senseless pain! The Lord is never surprised by the dilemma we find ourselves in. But to see Him pause and say “Now what do I have here”. As if a Father when looking upon His children trapped in the object of their disobedience marvels. Knowing full well at the instruction the predicament the disobedience would cause.

II. Shall Know

A.Isaiah 52:6

Isaiah 52:6 NKJV
6 Therefore My people shall know My name; Therefore they shall know in that day That I am He who speaks: ‘Behold, it is I.’ ”
The Lord brings the understanding of who He is and what He can accomplish. We can know who are redeemer is as Job. We can look to the mountains and see where our help comes from. We can confidently call upon our God and name Him Shepherd. We can bow a humble heart before Him and cry Abba! We are only uncertain of who He is because of the deadness of the flesh but once born again in the spirit and into life, we will KNOW!

III. How

A. Isaiah 52:7
